Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS if available
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained during food preparation and serving
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Assist with basic food handling, preparation, and setup as needed to support kitchen staff
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy periods
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to sanitation protocols and food industry regulations
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Experience

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow in the hospitality industry
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus but training will be provided
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling
• Experience in food industry roles involving serving, cashiering, or food preparation is advantageous
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic understanding of hospitality principles with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling techniques
