About the role

The Sewer is responsible for operating sewing machines to assemble, stitch, alter, and finish garments, upholstery, mattresses, or other textile products according to company quality standards and production requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines and related equipment efficiently and safely.
• Sew fabric, leather, or other materials according to specifications, patterns, and work instructions.
• Inspect materials and finished products for defects and quality compliance.
• Perform minor machine adjustments and report equipment issues to supervisors.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and finished products.
• Follow company safety policies and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production efficiency.

About you

• High school graduate or vocational course graduate is preferred.
• Experience in industrial sewing operations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of different sewing techniques and machine operations.
• Good attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
