Sewer / Drainage Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Sewer/Drainage Engineer to undertake the design and coordination of stormwater and foul sewer infrastructure associated with road and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design stormwater drainage and foul sewer networks.
• Prepare hydraulic and drainage calculations.
• Develop drainage layouts, profiles and longitudinal sections.
• Design manholes, gullies, catchpits and associated drainage structures.
• Coordinate drainage design with highway alignments and levels.
• Coordinate drainage with existing and proposed utilities.
• Prepare drainage reports, drawings and schedules.
• Review hydraulic and hydrological information.
• Review contractor and specialist consultant submissions.
• Respond to client and authority comments.
• Coordinate with highway, utility, geotechnical and structural engineers.
• Support hydraulic modelling where required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of drainage/sewer design experience.
• Strong experience in infrastructure and road drainage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience with hydraulic modelling software is an advantage.
• Qatar/GCC experience is preferred.
• Good technical report-writing skills.
