Sewing Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Sewing Supervisor who is overall in charge of the sewing line, monitoring production and stitching quality.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures that assigned sewing lines/processes operate smoothly to produce quality output.
• Review and study all important details for new internal order (IO) files and do all necessary steps to comply with the buyer’s requirements.
• Take actions to improve the quality of all finished garments.
• Monitor and improve efficiency on an hourly basis.
• Coach and develop sewers’ skills and own leadership abilities.
• Coordinate with other departments to further ensure that sewing line goals for smooth flow of production are realized.
• Facilitate transfer of technical know-how.
• Receive accessories from the store by requisition as per quantity.
• Receive cutting parts from the cutting section and make input in sewing line style-wise.
• Check garments by measurements.

OTHERS:

• Other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
• Responsible for good housekeeping and safety in the work area.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school/Vocational course graduate.
• At least 2 to 4 years of work experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Knowledgeable in different kinds of sewing techniques, stitches, fabrics and materials, sewing equipment, and operations.
• Has a sense of responsibility.
• A team player, mature, responsible, results-oriented, and can perform well under pressure.
• Willing to work in Clark, Pampanga.
