SFCC Development Lead | 12-Month Contract
Hours: Central Time business-hour coverage
Initial contract: 12 months, with extension anticipated
Target knowledge-transfer start: 15 November 2026
Empiric is seeking a hands-on SFCC Development Lead to lead a development team supporting a large-scale digital commerce platform.
Responsibilities:
Lead development, enhancements, integrations and production support.
Work across SFCC Business Manager, pipelines, ISML templates and scheduled jobs.
Own technical estimates, code reviews and development quality.
Coordinate sprint delivery with engineering and product teams.
Support knowledge transfer, documentation and scheduled after-hours deployments.
Requirements:
10–15 years in software development, including 5+ years with SFCC.
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS, React Native and REST API experience.
Hands-on technical leadership, debugging and troubleshooting.
GitLab or comparable CI/CD tools.
Experience working with distributed teams and Agile delivery.
This is a hands-on technical role.
