This position is for Sarlanagar Cement Works, Sedam, Karnataka

Position Title: SH Technical Services (Digitalization/ Lean)

To lead Lean, Digitalization and Low-Cost Automation Initiatives apart from other Total Employee Involvement Initiatives driving Manufacturing excellence.

Other Quantitative and Important Parameters for the job:

Number of Digitalization Initiatives in pipe line/implemented/Cost Saved.

Number of Lean Initiatives/Cost saved.

Job Context & Major Challenges:

Bringing First Time Right, Standardization and Structure across the Unit horizontally deployable across the business.

Digital / Automation Projects

• Implement digital governance frameworks ensuring consistency, scalability, and sustainability of digital solutions.

• Partnering with different department and helping in execution & completion of digital projects which are going on in Unit.

• Ensure Digital / Automation Projects are implemented and regularly reviewed for the business impact.

• Regular contributions to strategic planning, development of function-specific digital initiatives, and alignment of these initiatives with overarching digital transformation objectives.

• Oversee the development and dissemination of digital training programs, customizing initiatives per team needs and tracking their effectiveness for continuous improvement.

Key systems & Process improvement / Institutionalization

Sustain Unit Level Initiatives:

Visual - To improve the visuals in plant & Colonies with phase wise implementation

Achieving the scrap target of the plant through

Mega Cleaning

Execute lean manufacturing

Process Improvement: Skills in identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions

Project Management: Ability to manage projects effectively, ensuring timely and cost-efficient completion

Problem-Solving: Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and address issues

Conceptualization

Defining Objectives: Clearly outline the goals and objectives of the project. This helps in setting a clear direction and purpose

Identifying Key Concepts: Break down broad ideas into specific, measurable elements. To ensure everyone involved has a shared understanding of the main concepts

Collaborating with Stakeholders: Work closely with team members and other stakeholders to refine the concepts and ensure alignment with the project's goals
