Shake Maker

We’re looking for a reliable, motivated person to join our team at The Milk Bar.

This is a customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in doing things properly, and can stay organised and upbeat when things get busy.

What you’ll be doing

• Welcoming customers and providing friendly, professional service
• Making milkshakes and serving ice cream consistently to our recipes
• Taking orders and handling cash and EFTPOS payments accurately
• Keeping the shop, preparation areas and equipment clean and organised
• Restocking ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
• Working efficiently with the rest of the team during busy periods
• Taking initiative and helping with whatever needs doing to keep the shop running smoothly

What we’re looking for

You don’t need extensive hospitality experience — we’ll provide full training — but we do need someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual and ready to work
• Friendly and confident dealing with customers
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Willing to take initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
• Consistent and attentive to the small details
• Positive, practical and willing to learn

Availability requirements

You must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday every week, including public holidays when required.
