About the Role
Requirements
- Previous salon experience is an advantage, although candidates with strong potential may be considered for structured in-house training.
- Basic knowledge of shampooing, conditioning and hair-treatment application.
- Ability to work carefully with different hair types and textures.
- Gentle detangling skills that protect the hair and minimise discomfort or breakage.
- Correct control of water temperature and pressure.
- Ability to protect clients' clothing, face and neck during services.
- Ability to provide a gentle scalp massage when appropriate.
- Consistent sanitation of basins, towels, tools and surrounding areas.
- Speed, attentiveness and care.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Shortlisted candidates will complete a practical assessment.
