Shampoo Assistant- Strafford

Position Summary

The Shampoo Assistant supports stylists and colorists in delivering an exceptional Adolf Biecker guest experience. This position provides shampoo and guest care services, assists with salon operations, and maintains a clean, professional environment while developing a strong understanding of salon services, operations, and procedures.

Essential Job Functions

Including but not limited to:

• Provide shampoo and conditioning services in accordance with salon standards.
• Perform stress-relieving treatments and hand and arm massages to enhance the guest experience.
• Offer and serve beverages and attend to guest needs throughout their salon visit.
• Support stylists and colorists with daily service needs and salon operations.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas throughout the salon.
• Assist with laundry and maintain appropriate supplies and equipment.
• Develop knowledge of salon services, products, operations, and systems.
• Provide product information and recommendations and support retail sales.
• Follow all salon policies, procedures, service standards, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, polished, and fashion-forward image consistent with Adolf Biecker standards.
• Demonstrate teamwork, reliability, initiative, and a commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Professional, polished, and fashion-forward appearance and demeanor.
• Full-time availability, including evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements

• This is a standing position requiring the ability to stand and move throughout the workday and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine duties involving reaching, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the salon.
