SharePoint Microsoft System Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY

Working for our Client SEC on the Infrastrcture Support Services 2 Program, the SharePoint Administrator, supporting the Common Services Delivery, Enterprise Operations, and Enterprise Infrastructure Teams, will help as we transition from a previous long-term contractor and their output into a more relevant services delivery for SEC. This will include a discovery, realignment, and refresh of a significant amount of the previous SharePoint efforts and activities of a long-term previous contractor. This will include finding numerous orphaned and abandoned pages.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties: This SharePoint Administrator position is for the SEC ISS2 program, supporting the Common Services Delivery, Enterprise Operations, and Enterprise Infrastructure Teams. Drive the discovery, realignment, and refresh of a significant amount of SharePoint effort and activity of a long-term previous contractor. Will work closely with the Business Process Engineering ang Knowledge Management teams to discover and 'correct' orphaned and abandoned SharePoint sites/pages, as well as cleanup/develop of dashboards and reporting which brings increased clarity, insight, and value to both Leidos and Client management. Will work with Program Senior Leadership to help validate existing and additional metrics and reporting formats. Reporting to the Common Services Delivery Program Manager, there will be various meetings, presentations, and reports required. Supports the development and maintenance of solutions to customer business/management/process problems. Creates user accounts and groups for SharePoint site access. Maintains the access integrity of the SharePoint sites used to manage full scale program execution projects. Performs Daily, Weekly and Monthly administrative task to keep SharePoint healthy through data purging, archiving, and logging initiatives. Develops documentation to include: user guides, technical documentation, and administration manuals for SharePoint sites and tools. Analyzes program metrics to determine areas for process improvements. Performs minor troubleshooting activities to support site users.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent and 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience. Excellent communications skills, written and oral, to interface with customers and peers Proficient knowledge of computer systems, SQL databases, SharePoint, and Microsoft Excel Excellent organizational skills Authorization - U.S. Citizen. Background Investigation / Clearance - Must be able to obtain and maintain an SEC Public Trust determination (or higher if required).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

PowerBI expert experience would be a strong plus.

Operational Support - May require participation in on-call or surge support activities for critical incidents, major releases, or SEC-directed operational events, dependent on operational needs, or other needs consistent with contractual SLAs.
