Shawarma Chef

We are looking for an experienced Head Shawarma Chef to lead the shawarma section of our restaurant in Dubai.

The right person should have strong hands-on experience with shawarma preparation, marination, grilling, cutting, sauces and daily kitchen operations. We are looking for someone who can help us maintain a high-quality and consistent product.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare chicken and meat shawarma from marination to service
• Manage shawarma grilling, cutting and portioning
• Maintain consistent taste, quality and presentation
• Prepare and manage sauces and related ingredients
• Help develop and improve shawarma recipes
• Control food portions and reduce wastage
• Monitor stock and ingredient requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shawarma station
• Train and guide other kitchen staff when required
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards

Requirements

• Strong previous experience as a Shawarma Chef
• Good knowledge of chicken and meat shawarma
• Strong knowledge of marination, seasoning and grilling
• Experience managing a shawarma station independently
• Ability to work during busy service periods
• Clean and organized working style
• UAE or GCC restaurant experience is preferred
• Ability to join quickly is preferred
