SHE Assistant

About the role

The Safety Assistant supports the implementation and maintenance of workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining occupational safety and health programs.
• Maintain and update safety documentation, records, permits, and reports.
• Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure.
• Assist in organizing safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.

Qualifications: -

• Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• Additional safety certification (e.g., NIOSH, SHO, OSHA-related qualifications) is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant working experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
