a job opening working with our aerospace manufacturing client located in Long

Island, NY. This is a full time position with the possibility of transitioning to our

client’s organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 Develop, implement, manage, and/or ensure compliance for SHE and industrial hygiene compliance

programs

 Evaluate and act upon new environmental & safety regulations

 Manage site activities which impact areas of environmental and/or safety compliance with Federal,

State, or Local regulations

 In collaboration with management, assist in developing and implementing site policies concerning

environmental and safety issues

 Monitor and direct the facility regarding new air permits related to operations and construction

 Support sites ISO-9001 activities as required

 Supervise and provide technical guidance to the Documentation Specialist, Environmental & Safety

Associate, and Environmental & Safety Specialist

 Primary contact for regulatory agencies such as EPA, DEC and OSHA for inspections, permitting, and

reporting

 Utilize operational excellence principles (5S, visual management, RCA) to achieve best in class

performance

REQUIREMENTS:

 B.S. degree in Environmental, Safety or related field, (5-7 years of advanced experience may be

substituted)

 Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience

 Must be conversant in EPA and OSHA regulations

 Experience and previous culture of driving excellence preferred
