Challenge Testing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Shear Wave NDT Technician to join our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Department.Position Responsibilities

• Perform Ultrasonic Shear Wave Testing (UTSW) in accordance with applicable codes, procedures, and client requirements.
• Perform and document NDT inspections accurately and efficiently.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection results.
• Prepare clear and accurate inspection reports.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper calibration.
• Follow all company and client safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other team members.
• Travel to job sites as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience performing Ultrasonic Shear Wave Testing.
• Current or previous UT Level II / Shear Wave certification preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable NDT codes, standards, and procedures.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work varying schedules, including overtime, nights, and weekends when required.
• Additional NDT certifications such as MT, PT, RT, or CWI are a plus.
