Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and relationship-driven Sheet Metal & Wall Panel Estimator & Sales Representative (combined position) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the complete preconstruction process—from identifying opportunities and developing customer relationships to performing takeoffs, preparing winning proposals, and securing profitable work.

Key Responsibilities

· Sales & Business Development: Develop relationships with General Contractors, Owners, Architects, Consultants, and Developers.

· Opportunity Management: Identify, pursue, qualify, and track project opportunities through CRM while maintaining an active sales pipeline and forecast.

· Takeoffs & Estimating: Perform accurate digital takeoffs from architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents.

· Cost Analysis: Calculate material, labor, equipment, freight, and production costs.

· Vendor & Manufacturer Relations: Solicit competitive pricing and maintain supplier relationships.

· Proposal Delivery: Prepare and present professional proposals, budgets, and value engineering options.

· Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, scope, and contract terms while maintaining target margins.

· Project Turnover: Conduct detailed turnover meetings with Project Managers covering scope, assumptions, schedule, procurement, budget, and risk items.

Qualifications & Skills

· Experience: Minimum 2 to 5+ years of estimating experience in Sheet Metal and Wall Panel estimating (or 3 to 5 years in support roll), including sheet metal, ACM/MCM panels, metal wall panels, rainscreen systems, exterior cladding systems and building envelope systems

· Contract Document literacy: Proficient experience in read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

· Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, CRMs, Microsoft Office Suite, related estimating software, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) use and confirmation

· Communication: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

· Valid Driver's License: Required for site visits and client meetings (company vehicle or mileage reimbursement provided).
