How You Will Make An Impact

• Assist experienced journeymen with the on-site installation, repair, and maintenance of sheet metal components and HVAC systems.
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts, fittings, and ductwork components using hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery.
• Learn to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and system specifications to assist with accurate field layouts.
• Install and connect ductwork, air distribution vents, and associated components on residential and commercial jobsites.
• Maintain high quality standards on every task to ensure clean workmanship and support on-time project completion.
• Follow all jobsite safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and proper PPE practices to ensure a secure working environment.
• Collaborate effectively with crew members and foremen, demonstrating strong work ethic, punctuality, and eager coachability.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Massachusetts Sheetmetal License.
• Basic understanding of sheet metal fabrication methods, tools, and materials.
• Fundamental ability to read or learn to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical schematics.
• Basic problem-solving ability and strong mechanical aptitude.
• High commitment to safety, team collaboration, and active learning on the job.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Prior hands-on experience or vocational training in HVAC, sheet metal fabrication, or general construction.
• Familiarity with safety practices including OSHA protocols, fall protection, and ladder safety.
