Sheet Metal Bending Operator / Technician

• Operate CNC press brake / bending machines to bend sheet-metal parts according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, bend angles, bend radius and basic GD&T requirements.
• Set up the bending machine, including selection and installation of the correct punches, dies and tooling.
• Set machine parameters such as bend angle, bend position, back-gauge position and bending sequence.
• Perform bending operations on materials such as stainless steel, mild steel/SPCC, aluminium and other sheet metals.
• Check completed parts using Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, angle gauges and other measuring instruments.
• Perform first-piece inspection and make necessary machine adjustments before proceeding with production.
• Ensure finished parts meet the required dimensions, angles, tolerances and workmanship standards.
• Identify and report bending defects such as incorrect angles, deformation, scratches, cracks or dimensional non-conformance.
• Handle materials and finished parts carefully to prevent scratches, dents and surface damage, particularly for cosmetic parts.
• Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning and daily equipment checks to ensure machines are in good operating condition.
• Follow company quality, safety, 5S and production procedures.
• Record production quantities, inspection results, rejects and other required production information.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Production teams to resolve drawing, tooling or bending-related issues.
• Carry out other sheet-metal fabrication duties assigned by the supervisor when required.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
