Sheet Metal- Supervisor / Bending Technician / Engineer / Welder/Operator

1. Sheet Metal Supervisor

Job Scope:

· Supervise daily sheet metal production and manpower allocation.

· Monitor production output, quality, and delivery schedules.

· Coordinate cutting, bending, welding, and assembly activities.

· Ensure machines, tools, and materials are properly used.

· Check work quality and ensure products meet specifications.

· Monitor production efficiency and reduce material/process wastage.

· Train and guide operators and technicians.

· Ensure compliance with safety rules, SOPs, and 5S requirements.

· Prepare production reports and communicate issues to management.

2. Bending Technician

Job Scope:

· Operate CNC Press Brake / bending machines.

· Set up machines, tooling, and bending parameters according to drawings.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

· Perform first-piece inspection and dimensional checks.

· Adjust machine settings to achieve required bending accuracy.

· Troubleshoot basic machine and tooling issues.

· Maintain proper records of production and inspection results.

· Ensure safe operation and proper housekeeping.

3. Sheet Metal Engineer

Job Scope:

· Develop and improve sheet metal manufacturing processes.

· Review engineering drawings and product specifications.

· Prepare bending, cutting, welding, and fabrication processes.

· Optimize production methods, tooling, and machine parameters.

· Support production with technical troubleshooting.

· Conduct process improvement and reduce production costs/wastage.

· Work with QA/QC to resolve quality issues.

· Prepare and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.

· Support new product introduction (NPI) and trial production.

4. Welder

Job Scope:

· Perform MIG/TIG/ARC welding according to drawings and specifications.

· Prepare, fit, align, and weld sheet metal components.

· Check welding quality and dimensions during production.

· Operate and maintain welding machines and tools.

· Perform grinding, finishing, and basic fabrication work.

· Identify and report welding defects or quality issues.

· Follow welding procedures, safety requirements, and PPE standards.

· Maintain clean and organized work areas.

5. Sheet Metal Operator

Job Scope:

· Operate sheet metal machines such as laser cutting, press brake, shearing, punching, and related equipment.

· Load and unload materials safely.

· Follow drawings, work instructions, and production schedules.

· Perform basic machine setup and parameter adjustments.

· Conduct visual and dimensional checks of finished parts.

· Report machine, material, or quality issues to the supervisor.

· Maintain machines, tools, and workplace cleanliness.

· Follow company safety, SOP, and 5S requirements.

Requirements :

• SPM equivalent or technical certificate
• Possess knowledge and minimum 2-3 years experience in punching/ laser cutting process.
• Proven experience operating sheet metal bending equipment
• Experience with CNC bending or other advanced fabrication technologies is advantageous
