About us

Highrise Commercial is an Adelaide commercial mechanical contractor. From our Salisbury workshop, we manufacture rectangular ductwork and fittings for our own projects and custom pieces for other contractors. Our own project work keeps the workshop busy, and we’re growing.

We’re looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our small production team.

The role

Reporting to our Production Manager, you’ll:

• Read shop drawings and set out ductwork
• Fabricate rectangular duct and fittings, including transitions, offsets, shoes, boots and radius bends
• Operate folders, guillotines, notchers and rollers
• Flange, cleat, seal and prepare ductwork for insulation or dispatch
• Check finished work against drawings before it leaves the shop
• Keep the workshop organised and safe

About you

• Experience in light-gauge sheet metal fabrication, ideally HVAC ductwork
• Able to read shop drawings and set out work on your own
• Confident on a folder and guillotine
• Accurate, reliable and proud of your work
• Works well in a small team

Nice to have: coil line or plasma cutting, TDF/Ductmate flanging, a forklift licence, or commercial HVAC experience.
