Walton Press Inc. is looking for an experienced, dependable RMGT 970 PF Press Operator to join our production team in Monroe, Georgia. We are seeking a skilled printing professional who takes pride in producing high-quality work, maintaining consistent color and registration, and keeping production running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain an RMGT 970 PF sheetfed offset press.
• Produce high-quality printed materials while meeting customer specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate color, registration, ink and water balance throughout production.
• Monitor press performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot printing and mechanical issues to minimize downtime and waste.
• Perform routine press maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and production schedules.
• Work collaboratively with prepress, bindery, and production personnel to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a sheetfed offset printing press required.
• RMGT press experience preferred; experience with comparable presses will be considered.
• Strong understanding of color control, registration, makeready, and print quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and effective troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven production environment.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing quality work.
