SHEQ Coordinators

A. Regulatory Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with all applicable SHEQ, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain statutory records, registers, and documentation in accordance with legal requirements.

B. Risk Management & Hazard Control

• Conduct, review, and brief Risk Assessments (RA) in accordance with WSH (Risk Management) Regulations.
• Develop, review, and brief Safe Work Procedures (SWPs).

C. Incident Investigation & Reporting

• Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences, and environmental incidents.
• Conduct root cause analysis using structured methodologies

D. Site Inspections & SHEQ Monitoring

• Conduct routine site SHEQ inspections and safety patrols.
• Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions; ensure timely rectification.

E. Training & SHEQ Promotion

• Conduct SHEQ induction for new employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Coordinate and track mandatory training and certification requirements.

F. Emergency Preparedness & Response

• Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining the Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
• Coordinate and conduct emergency drills (e.g., fire, chemical spill, evacuation, CERT).

G. Security Management

• Support development and implementation of site security risk assessment.
• Ensure segregation of public, contractor, and operational zones.

Key Competencies

• Strong knowledge of WSH legislation and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
• Understanding of waste management and plant operations.
• Competency in risk assessment and hazard identification.
• Strong incident investigation and analytical skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Strong documentation and reporting capability.
• Ability to work effectively in an operational, site-based environment.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Qualifications & Requirements

Mandatory:

• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or equivalent.
