Job Title: SHEQ Manager

Location: Unit 1 High Barns Farm, Bedford Road, Roxton, Bedfordshire, MK44 3ET

Salary Details: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum dependant on experience.

Job Summary: The SHEQ Manager is required to take ownership of all Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality compliance. Developing, implementing, monitoring and continually improving the Integrated Management System certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Additionally, this role supports the Operations Manager in reporting quality to RSP Germany and assisting alignment, within RSP UK, with the wider group’s corporate standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Health & Safety:

• Develop and maintain H&S policies, procedures and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and implementing corrective actions.
• Lead and manage the Company’s H&S Strategy.

Audit and Assurance:

• Plan and deliver the internal audit programme.
• Manage external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Manage non-conformities and CAPA through RCA.
• Maintain supply-chain accreditations.

Integrated Management System:

• Own, maintain and continually improve the IMS inline with Annex SL and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
• Set, monitor and report SHEQ objectives and KPI’s.
• Lead the Management Review process and transition to revised standards.

Environment and Quality:

• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and permit requirements.
• Monitor waste management, pollution control and environmental performance.
• Investigate quality issues, customer complaints and non-conformances.

Compliance and Competence:

• Manage all statutory inspections.
• Provide compliance oversight of the Training Centre ensuring NVQ, CPCS and EUSR delivery meets awarding body accreditation and scheme requirements.
• Maintain training matrix and deliver inductions, tool box talks and SHEQ training.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise the leadership team

Qualifications Skills and Attributes Required:

Required:

• NEBOSH General Certificate
• Lead Auditor Qualification
• Proven experience managing an integrated ISO 9001/14001/45001 system.
• Strong report writing, communications and Microsoft 365 skills.
• Organised, self-motivated and able to influence at all levels.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Experience working in an Engineering, Industrial or site based environment.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
