SHERIFF'S OFFICE SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT DEPUTY- PART TIME

The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office is seeking applications for part-time on call Special Assignment Deputy positions. This position enforces Federal, State and local laws regarding traffic and criminal incidents. Position may work varied hours, weekends, and holidays, with no guaranteed number of hours per week or month.

Minimum Qualifications include but are not limited to: 21 years of age or older, high school diploma or G.E.D., 2 year Associate Degree from an accredited Technical School or 60 credit hours from a College or University in Police Science, Criminal Justice or related field, and have no convictions of any Federal Felony or an offense which if committed in Wisconsin could be punished as a felony unless the applicant has been granted an absolute and unconditional pardon. Selection process will also include oral interviews, psychological examination, and extensive background check. Applicants must be certified or certifiable and must provide written documentation as evidence with application.

Starting pay is $23.29 hr., with no benefits.
