Shift Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in machinery, control panels, and power systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical/electronic systems.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Support production by responding promptly to breakdowns and electrical/electronic issues.
• Inspect and test electrical systems using tools such as multi meters and testers.
• Work on motor control systems, drives (VFDs), PLCs, lighting systems, and switchgear.
• Maintain documentation of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers and other maintenance staff to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor control, and safety procedures.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food industry standards.
• Familiarity with energy-saving and preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
