We are currently seeking an experienced Shift Electrician to join our Manufacturing & Maintenance team. You will play a key role in maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime and ensuring plant operations run safely and efficiently.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance across manufacturing plant and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machinery.
• Work with PLC-controlled equipment, AC/DC drives and automated systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Complete fault finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Follow all workplace health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Participate in shift handovers and maintenance reporting.

What You Bring to the Team

• Current Electrical Trade Qualification (A-Grade Electrical Licence).
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Maintenance or Shift Electrician within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with PLCs, automated equipment and variable speed drives.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety.
