Shift Engineer - 1 Year Experience

WE ARE HIRING: SHIFT ENGINEER

Salary: ₱22,000–₱25,000

Location: Brgy. Batis, San Juan City

We are looking for a Shift Engineer who can support daily manufacturing operations, monitor production performance, and help improve productivity, efficiency, and process compliance. This is a great opportunity for engineering professionals who want to grow in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or any related engineering course.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or process engineering is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds may also be considered.
• Knowledge of production planning, process improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and productivity analysis.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and Occupational Safety standards is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Operational Functions SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor daily production operations to ensure the achievement of production schedules, output targets, and operational efficiency.
• Analyze production processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
• Monitor machine utilization, downtime, and production performance, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Assist in production planning, manpower allocation, line balancing, and capacity utilization.
• Support new product trials, process improvements, and equipment commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with production specifications, quality standards, and operating procedures.

Administrative Functions

• Prepare and analyze production reports, efficiency reports, downtime analysis, and productivity metrics.
• Maintain production records, process documentation, work instructions, and engineering data.
• Monitor production KPIs and prepare recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Participate in production meetings and assist in implementing operational improvement projects.

Compliance Functions

• Ensure compliance with Company policies, GMP, HACCP, Halal, Food Safety, and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements.
• Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures and engineering standards.
• Assist during internal, customer, and regulatory audits and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
