Role:
Manage and supervise phosphoric acid plant operations during shifts, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable production while maintaining process parameters, quality standards and EHS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor PAP operations during the shift.
• Monitor critical process parameters and equipment performance.
• Supervise operators, technicians and contract manpower.
• Achieve production and quality targets.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Instrumentation, Electrical and Quality teams.
• Identify process deviations and take corrective action.
• Ensure SOP, process safety, PTW and EHS compliance.
• Handle plant start-up, shutdown and emergency situations.
• Maintain shift logbooks and production reports.
• Monitor raw material, utility and chemical consumption.
• Ensure proper shift handover.
• Support troubleshooting and process optimization.
• Participate in incident/near-miss investigations.

Must-Have Requirements

• 7+ years relevant experience in fertilizer/chemical plant operations.
• Mandatory PAP or closely related fertilizer-process experience.
• Knowledge of phosphoric acid manufacturing and associated equipment.
• Shift operations, process monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Plant start-up/shutdown experience.
• Process safety, EHS, SOP and PTW knowledge.
• Shift team handling capability.
• Ability to handle emergencies and work under pressure.

Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.

Preferred: Candidates currently or previously working in Phosphoric Acid / Fertilizer / Chemical Process Plants.
