Shift Engineer (Petrochemical Manufacture)

Job Summary

The Shift Engineer is responsible for directing and monitoring shift operations in a continuous 24x7 manufacturing plant. The position focuses on maintaining plant efficiency, executing shift operational plans, raw material control, packaging operations, and immediate troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Shift Operations & Planning: Plan and execute daily shift operational activities to ensure continuous, uninterrupted plant operations.
• Safety Enforcement: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and environment management during the shift.
• Target Achievement: Monitor operational metrics to meet shift production goals and targets.
• Operational Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve immediate technical issues and process deviations within the plant.
• Material & Packing Management: Oversee raw material consumption, handling, and packaging workflows during shift shifts.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering.

• Experience: 12–20 years of continuous process manufacturing experience (non-batch) in the Polyester, PET, or Petrochemical sectors.

• Core Competencies: Proficiency in MS Office, statistical tools, safety management systems, and team management.
