Shift Engineer - Production

Job Summary

Position: Shift Engineer - Production. Location: Daman. Experience: 2 - 3 years. Industries: Plastic.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage production activities during the shift
• Ensure production targets are achieved with optimal efficiency
• Monitor and control plastic processing operations such as injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding
• Maintain product quality as per standards and specifications
• Troubleshoot machine and process issues to minimize downtime
• Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdowns and preventive maintenance
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and materials
• Maintain production reports, shift logs, and documentation
• Follow and enforce safety, health, and environmental guidelines
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, etc.)

Required Skills

• Understanding of quality control systems
• Basic knowledge of maintenance practices
• Good communication and reporting skills
