Shift Engineer (RME )

Job Summary

Responsible for the efficient operation, monitoring, inspection, and maintenance of the building's mechanical, electrical, and other engineering systems. Ensures the reliability, safety, and proper functioning of all building facilities through preventive and corrective maintenance, timely troubleshooting, and coordination with engineering personnel, contractors, and property management. Ensures smooth building operations during the assigned shift and provides proper endorsement of operational concerns to the incoming shift.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the proper operation of building facilities and engineering systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Supervise and coordinate engineering technicians and maintenance personnel during the assigned shift.
• Respond to tenant complaints and address technical issues involving building facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers for repairs and maintenance works.
• Maintain equipment logs, maintenance records, work orders, and incident reports.
• Conduct proper shift handovers and report unresolved issues to the incoming engineer.
• Respond to building emergencies and report major equipment problems to the Chief Engineer or Property Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Valid PRC license
• Knowledge of building operations, property management, and mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience in preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and technical troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Ability to prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and shift endorsements.
• Good communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work on a shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays when required.

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
