Shift In charge- Dispatch

Greetings!!

We have been mandated by a large conglomerate in to iron & steel business for the below mentioned role-

Position: Shift In-Charge Dispatch

Designation: Assistant Manager
Qualification: Diploma Engineering / Graduate (Diploma preferred)
Experience: 1014 Years

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle shift-wise dispatch operations in the rolling mill
• Ensure timely loading/unloading and dispatch of finished goods
• Coordinate with transporters, warehouse, and production teams
• Maintain dispatch schedules and documentation (invoices, challans, etc.)
• Monitor stock movement and yard management
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance during dispatch operations
• Resolve logistics-related issues during the shift
• Supervise manpower and ensure operational efficiency

Key Skills:

• Strong experience in dispatch & logistics within steel industry
• Knowledge of yard management and inventory control
• Leadership and team handling skills
• Good understanding of documentation and compliance
• Ability to work in rotational shifts
