Job Summary

We are looking for a Shift In-Charge – Production to manage day-to-day shop-floor activities and ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production operations. Freshers with good technical knowledge and a willingness to work in a manufacturing environment are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the shift production plan and monitor production targets.
• Coordinate manpower and machine utilization during the shift.
• Monitor production output, downtime, rejection, and production losses.
• Identify production, quality, material, and machine-related issues.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch teams.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety, 5S, and shop-floor discipline.
• Maintain shift production reports, downtime records, and other required documentation.
• Ensure proper shift handover and communicate pending issues to the next shift.
• Escalate major production and quality issues to the Production Head.
• Support continuous improvement and reduction of production losses.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
• Basic knowledge of machines and shop-floor operations.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle manpower and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of 5S, SOP, safety, and basic quality practices.
• Good reporting and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts.

Eligibility

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Freshers to 1 year of experience can apply.
• Candidates with strong technical knowledge and good shop-floor understanding will be preferred.
• Local candidates from Islampur / Sangli and nearby areas will be preferred.
