Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance professional to manage shift-wise maintenance operations in a plastic injection moulding manufacturing facility. The role will focus primarily on injection moulding production processing, machine performance, breakdown reduction and smooth shift-wise production.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage shift-wise maintenance activities for injection moulding machines and related production equipment.
• Handle electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting of injection moulding machines.
• Ensure maximum machine availability and minimize breakdowns and production downtime.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
• Monitor injection moulding production processing and ensure smooth machine operation.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, VFD, servo drives, control panels and electrical systems.
• Manage maintenance of utilities and auxiliary equipment such as compressors, chillers, cooling towers, DG sets and pumps.
• Coordinate with the Production team to resolve machine/process-related issues.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, breakdown reports and PM schedules.
• Manage maintenance spares and coordinate with vendors when required.
• Lead and supervise the maintenance team during the assigned shift.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and ISO requirements.
• Drive initiatives for breakdown reduction, MTTR improvement and machine efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Strong experience in plastic manufacturing / injection moulding industry.
• Hands-on experience in injection moulding machine maintenance and production processing.
• Experience handling maintenance operations independently during shifts.
• Strong team handling and troubleshooting skills.
• Candidate should be willing to relocate to an African country.
• Bachelor status preferred/required as per client requirement.
