Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning tables, counters, equipment, and food handling surfaces in accordance with food safety standards
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light menu items while adhering to food safety protocols
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred, especially barista experience or beverage service roles
• Demonstrated ability to handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and performing retail math calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in beverage preparation or coffee industry roles is a plus
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
