We are looking for a motivated Lead to join our second shift (2pm-10.00pm), at Energyline. This role will suit an experienced production or team leader, or early career professional who is ready to develop towards leadership.

You will become ingrained in the complete production cycle, taking a hands-on approach while working alongside our enthusiastic and diverse production team. As the second-shift lead, you will help coordinate workflow, support the team and build on our leadership capabilities. DIFOT is our top priority, and confident leadership, problem solving and collaboration are how we get there.

Responsibilities

• Creating a positive, productive and safe working environment on our second shift
• Driving continuous improvement in production, safety and quality
• Providing leadership, direction, coaching and support to the team
• Driving team performance, recognising contribution and managing performance issues
• Resourcing and planning to ensure productivity and DIFOT targets are met
• Coordinating workflow through production and stores, including effective shift handover
• Getting stuck in and helping the team wherever necessary

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, or demonstrate the potential to develop them.

• Experience leading a successful team is desirable, but not essential.
• An open, honest and supportive approach to working with people.
• Confidence in providing feedback, managing performance and resolving conflict.
• An ability to take the initiative, problem solve and make decisions under pressure.
• A commitment to safety, continuous improvement and innovation.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and a practical, technically minded approach.
• Confidence using production-related software, or a willingness to learn.
