Shift Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Lead to join our team! As a Shift Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations, achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Co-supervise, coach, and support sales associates, and help train new team members on The UPS Store franchise policies and procedures
• Display and explain best sales practices to achieve sales goals
• Resolve customer concerns and escalations by phone or at the counter
• Process shipments for UPS & USPS, including packing, pricing, and documentation
• Handle print and copy jobs, mailbox services, and other center services
• Operate the POS system, reconcile the register, and complete end-of-day reports
• Keep the center clean, organized, stocked, and compliant with brand standards
• Communicate shift updates, issues, and needs to the Store Manager or owner.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience working at The UPS Store
• Eligible to become a North Carolina Notary Public (at least 18, high school diploma or equivalent, and meets NC Secretary of State requirements)
• Available for the full schedule above, including weekends
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with computers, POS systems, and shipping software
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to [50] lbs

Preferred

• Completed The UPS Store Certified Operator Training
• Current NC Notary Public commission
• Prior experience leading or supervising a team

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 38.0 per week
