Duties

• Supervise daily store operations, ensuring all activities run efficiently and smoothly during your shift
• Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new staff to maintain a high-performing team
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and ensure accurate bookkeeping and payroll processing
• Oversee merchandising efforts, including pricing strategies and product placement to maximize sales
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience
• Coordinate purchasing and inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels
• Enforce store policies on safety, cleanliness, and organization while adhering to company standards

Skills

• Strong leadership skills with proven supervising or team management experience
• Excellent communication skills in both bilingual (if applicable) and monolingual settings
• Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for bookkeeping and budgeting tasks
• Skilled in negotiation, marketing strategies, and sales management techniques
• Ability to train staff effectively in customer service, sales techniques, and operational procedures
• Organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and merchandising
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
• Experience in retail sales, cashiering, merchandising, and store management roles
• Knowledge of purchasing processes, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
• Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
