Shift Lead in Training

Were looking for a motivated, dependable team member who is ready to take the next step in their role and grow into a leadership position.

As a Shift Lead in Training, youll work alongside our management team to develop the skills and knowledge needed to successfully lead a shift. This position is designed for someone who takes initiative, works well with others, and is ready to be a positive example for the team.

What Youll Do

As a Shift Lead in Training, you will:

• Previous barista experience is required
• Must have availability on both Saturday and Sunday
• Lead by example through a positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic
• Build and demonstrate strong knowledge of our products, procedures, and daily operations
• Support, coach, and encourage team members
• Help address customer concerns in a professional and positive manner
• Communicate effectively with both management and team members
• Help maintain store standards, cleanliness, and organization
• Learn and take on shift leadership responsibilities
• Use initiative and sound judgment when making decisions
• Help create a positive, welcoming environment for both customers and coworkers
• Demonstrate dependability, accountability, and consistency

Training & Evaluation

The Shift Lead in Training program is designed to provide you with the support and feedback needed to develop your leadership skills.

You will complete a self-evaluation and manager evaluation at the following points:

• Day 1: Initial Self-Evaluation & Manager Evaluation
• 30 Days: Self-Evaluation & Manager Evaluation
• 60 Days: Self-Evaluation & Final Manager Evaluation

These evaluations are designed to track your progress, identify areas for improvement, and make sure you feel confident in your leadership responsibilities.

Successful completion of the 60-day evaluation will result in promotion to Shift Lead.
