Shift Lead - Jamba

Job Summary

As a Shift Lead at Jamba, you will be the energetic and dedicated leader who ensures smooth daily operations during your shift. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise team members during your shift, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent performance.
• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and consistency.
• Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Ensure adherence to food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock control, and communicate supply needs to prevent shortages.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Conduct staff training sessions on food production, customer service, and operational procedures.
• Assist with shift management tasks including scheduling, opening/closing duties, and cash reconciliation.
• Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for operational improvements.

Skills

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS along with cash handling expertise.
• Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams within hospitality or restaurant management roles.
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory control.
• Strong communication skills for managerial tasks including interviewing, training, and team leadership.
• Experience with managing inventory control, budgeting, and profit/loss analysis in a restaurant setting.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions.
• Capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in casual dining or hospitality management is highly desirable to excel in this role.
