Duties

• Lead and motivate team members during shifts to deliver fast, friendly service while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing retail sales transactions, cash handling, and food service orders accurately.
• Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation guidelines, including bussing tables, cleaning kitchen equipment, and ensuring proper food handling procedures.
• Oversee cash register operations, process cash transactions accurately, and reconcile cash at the end of each shift.
• Support operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety management practices.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards within the food industry.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking across duties like cashiering, food prep, and customer service.
• Proven skills in retail sales transactions, upselling techniques, and cash handling procedures.
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and maintaining sanitation standards in a restaurant or café setting.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service in diverse environments such as grocery stores or food establishments.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 38.0 per week
