Job Type: Full-Time (38–45 hours/week)

Pay Rate: $16.00 – $23.00 / hour

• Overtime Eligible: 1.5x regular pay for hours worked over 40 hours/week.
• Estimated Annual Earnings: $33,280 – $56,810/year (depending on base rate, total hours, and OT).

Schedule: 8–10 hour shifts | Day, Evening, Night & Weekend availability

Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven Shift Leader / Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead shift operations, coach team members, and ensure high standards of customer service, food quality, and restaurant safety.

You will work closely with leadership to manage daily store systems—including inventory, scheduling, cash handling, and compliance—while delivering a fast, accurate, and friendly guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Shift Management & Leadership: Direct shift operations, delegate tasks, manage work schedules, handle last-minute absences, and report shift metrics to the General Manager.
• Team Coaching & Development: Train and mentor crew members, identify growth opportunities, and foster high customer service standards.
• Food Safety & Quality: Execute daily food safety checks (FIFO, secondary code dates, temperature logs) and enforce strict food handling procedures.
• Inventory & Supplies: Assist with ordering, checking incoming shipments, monitoring stock, inspecting equipment, and logging repair needs.
• Cash Management: Oversee shift cash drawers, reconcile tills, and prepare bank deposits.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce Texas food safety guidelines, applicable Child Labor Laws, workplace safety protocols, and company uniform standards.
• Conflict Resolution: Swiftly address customer feedback, resolve team issues, and cultivate a positive work culture.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Experience: Prior experience as a Shift Leader, Assistant Manager, or supervisory role in fast-casual or quick-service restaurants.
• Certifications: ServSafe Certification required (or willing to obtain upon hire); valid Driver’s License preferred.
• Skills: Strong decision-making, team leadership, basic math/cash handling, and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift comfortably during 8–10 hour shifts.
• Attitude: Positive, encouraging mindset with exceptional communication and guest-first focus.
