Shift Leader - Circle K

Job Overview

As a Shift Leader at Circle K, you’ll keep daily store operations moving and help the team deliver friendly, efficient customer service. You’ll guide shift activities, support food preparation and service, and help maintain safe, organized work areas. Your impact: By coordinating the team and keeping service on track, you help customers enjoy a smooth visit and coworkers work effectively together.

Duties

• Lead shift operations, assign tasks, support team members, and address customer needs.
• Handle transactions using point-of-sale (POS) systems; maintain accurate cash handling and basic math practices.
• Prepare and cook food according to food safety and handling procedures; keep kitchen and service areas clean.
• Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and support food production and waste control.
• Assist with staff training, development, interviewing, and shift communication; follow store procedures and report operational concerns.

Qualifications

• Customer service, leadership, communication, and team management skills; ability to supervise and support staff.
• Food handling and food safety knowledge; food preparation or cooking experience is helpful.
• Experience in retail, food service, restaurants, hospitality, quick service, or fast food is preferred. Related experience may include shift or restaurant management, kitchen or food service management, serving, catering, banquet, bar, coffee, casual or fine dining, or assistant manager work.
• Familiarity with POS systems is helpful; POS experience is also relevant.
• Inventory control, budgeting, profit and loss analysis, and food management experience are useful but not required.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
