Shift Leader

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food production, ensuring that all operations run smoothly during their shift. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in managing the team, maintaining high standards of food preparation, and delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage and support kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining quality and consistency.
• Conduct inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders as necessary, and minimizing waste.
• Train and mentor new staff members in food production techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and communication.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the shift.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a leadership role within the food service industry, preferably in casual dining.
• Strong knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations.
• Experience with inventory control systems and practices.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
• Familiarity with bartending is a plus but not required.
• Ability to train staff effectively in food preparation techniques and safety measures.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
