Shift Leader

Position: Part-Time Shift Leader

Rate: $16.75 to $17.00 per hour
Reports To: Store Manager
Location: Destiny USA Mall, Syracuse, NY

Position Overview

Fries Fries Fries is seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Destiny USA Mall in Syracuse, New York.

The Shift Leader is responsible for assisting the Store Manager with the daily operation of the restaurant, providing strong leadership to employees, maintaining company standards, and ensuring our customers receive excellent service.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can lead by example, work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and hold themselves and the team accountable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise employees during assigned shifts.
• Ensure excellent customer service and a positive customer experience.
• Maintain Fries Fries Fries standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and organization.
• Follow and enforce all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Complete required opening, closing, cleaning, temperature, cash-handling, and shift documentation.
• Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, uniforms, and performance.
• Ensure employees remain productive and properly assigned throughout the shift.
• Assist with training and developing team members.
• Monitor portion control and food preparation standards.
• Assist with inventory control and preventing product shortages.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant.
• Properly handle cash and follow all company cash-handling and deposit procedures.
• Communicate operational concerns to the Store Manager.
• Assist the Store Manager with achieving sales and operational goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a current ServSafe certification.
• Must have at least one (1) year of leadership experience in a restaurant setting.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must have open availability, including: Weekdays,Weekends,Holidays
• Various shifts based on business needs
• Must be dependable, responsible, and punctual.
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Must demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills.
• Must be willing to hold employees accountable to company standards.

Pay: $16.75 - $17.00 per hour
