Shift Leader

Role Description The Shift Leader is a full-time, on-site role located in Monroe, WA, responsible for overseeing restaurant operations during assigned shifts. This role coordinates and directs team members to ensure excellent guest service, food quality, and cleanliness, while maintaining adherence to Wingstop and Far West Services standards. Day-to-day tasks include opening and closing procedures, monitoring food safety and sanitation, managing cash handling and register reconciliation, and responding to guest concerns in a professional manner. The Shift Leader supports training and coaching team members, assists with scheduling and labor management, and helps maintain inventory and stock levels. This role also works closely with restaurant management to achieve sales and performance goals and foster a positive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, hospitality, or retail leadership with responsibility for supervising team members and overseeing daily operations.
• Strong customer service skills, including effective communication, conflict resolution, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
• Basic cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) system proficiency, and attention to detail in following operational and safety procedures.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively during busy shifts, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
• Reliable transportation to the Monroe, WA location and ability to stand, bend, and lift as needed during shifts.
• Previous experience as a shift lead, crew trainer, or supervisor is preferred but not required; leadership potential and eagerness to learn are highly valued.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional training or coursework in hospitality or management is a plus.
