Job Summary

Matthew's Restaurant is seeking a dependable and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and lead the team during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent customer service, efficient operations, and compliance with food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise restaurant staff during assigned shifts
• Coordinate front-of-house and kitchen operations
• Ensure quality food and excellent guest service
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
• Monitor cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Train and support team members
• Maintain smooth operations during busy periods

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
• Supervisory or management experience is a plus
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
