Shift Manager

Position Summary:
The Shift Manager is responsible for leading the team during an assigned shift and making sure the store operates smoothly while providing excellent customer service. The role is hands-on and includes serving customers, preparing ice cream and other products, supervising employees, maintaining cleanliness, and handling store operations.

Typical responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead crew members during the shift.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Make and serve Cold Stone ice cream, cakes, cupcakes, waffles, and other products.
• Train and coach new and existing employees.
• Assign tasks and make sure employees follow company procedures.
• Monitor inventory and make sure adequate products and supplies are available.
• Receive and organize products and supplies when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store.
• Follow food-safety and sanitation requirements.
• Operate the POS system and process customer payments.
• Handle cash and assist with register/counting procedures.
• Keep the store properly stocked and prepared for busy periods.
• Support the Store/General Manager with daily operations.
• Help maintain a positive and productive team environment.
• Take responsibility for the store's operations when the manager is not present.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• 1+ years hospitality management experience preferred (experience working retail or in food service required)
• Flexible availability: must be able to work a combination of morning and evening shifts, and provide availability on weekends and most holidays.
• Demonstrate agility and fast speed of service, must be able to multi-task effectively.
• Provide courteous and prompt customer service to all individuals; we are looking for cheerful, energetic individuals that aren't afraid to take the spotlight and put on a show.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with crew members, customers, and other individuals.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 45.0 per week
