Job Description

The Osprey is seeking a motivated, reliable, and experienced Full-Time Shift Manager to help oversee daily restaurant operations. The Shift Manager will provide leadership and support to team members, help ensure efficient service, and maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and operational performance.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
• Lead, guide, and assist team members to ensure efficient service.
• Help ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Assign daily duties and monitor team performance.
• Assist with employee training and onboarding.
• Address customer concerns and resolve service-related issues professionally.
• Ensure dining, service, and work areas remain clean and organized.
• Monitor compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures.
• Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Handle operational issues and support management as needed.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, retail, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities during busy shifts.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures is preferred.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Work Schedule

Full-time. Schedule may include daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts based on restaurant operational needs.
