Shift Manager

Job Summary
Backlot Taphouse is looking for a dependable Shift Manager to lead restaurant operations during assigned shifts. This role involves supervising team members, maintaining service standards, and helping ensure an organized and welcoming experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant activities during assigned shifts.
• Supervise and support front-of-house and kitchen team members.
• Assign tasks and monitor staff performance throughout the shift.
• Maintain food quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Handle customer questions and resolve routine service concerns.
• Monitor inventory, supplies, and restaurant equipment.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures.
• Assist the management team with opening and closing duties.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, bar, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to make decisions in a busy restaurant environment.
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable leading a team.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

About The Company
Backlot Taphouse is an Omaha neighborhood restaurant and bar located at 2110 S 67th St. The establishment combines pizza and casual dining with a sports-bar atmosphere and serves the local Omaha community.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
