Shift Manager

Anzalone Pizza is seeking a dependable and organized Shift Manager to help oversee daily restaurant operations and support the team during each shift. This role involves coordinating staff, maintaining food and service standards, assisting customers, monitoring order flow, and helping ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is professional, responsible, and comfortable taking a leadership role in a busy pizza restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

• Help oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts
• Coordinate staff assignments and workflow throughout the shift
• Support and guide restaurant team members during busy service periods
• Monitor food quality, order accuracy, and customer-service standards
• Assist with training and coaching new and existing team members
• Handle routine customer questions and service concerns professionally
• Support POS operations and routine cash-handling procedures
• Monitor food, packaging, and restaurant supply levels
• Assist with restocking and organizing supplies as needed
• Help maintain efficient dine-in, pickup, and takeout order flow
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked service areas
• Support opening and closing procedures
• Communicate operational needs or concerns to restaurant management
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace, and company procedures

Qualifications

• Previous pizza restaurant, restaurant, café, food-service, or hospitality experience
• Previous shift-lead or supervisory experience is preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer-service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable taking responsibility
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks during busy service periods
• Good attention to food quality, cleanliness, and service details
• Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant procedures
• Able to support and work effectively with a restaurant team
• Professional and respectful approach to customers and coworkers

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
